Diary of a Mad Captain

While playing tennis is the most rewarding activity of my week, being a captain has to be the most frustrating activity. After having to deal with the line-up drama caused by two players who refused to take responsiblity for maintaining their match availability, I am convinced it would be easier to keep up with a class of 20 kindergarten students. Every player should be required to endure one season as a team captain, and then they would have a lot more respect for the amount of effort required to have a whole team show up for a match....nevermind all of the other things we captains are responsible for.
